Kelly Osbourne complemented her Tony Ward gown with the Judith Leiber rhinestone-encrusted clutch.

Maria Menounos matched the Swarovski crystal-embellished silver clutch with the Romona Keveza pink gown.

Louise Roe complemented her tulle gown with the box clutch in gold.

Jenna Dewan teamed the Rachel Roe black lacy dress with Christian Louboutin satin crème clutch.

Queen Latifah looked chic in the crisp white gown by Badgley Mischka, which she accessorized with white rhinestone-encrusted clutch.

Jennifer Anniston opted for the save combination: she complemented the red Valentino gown with the Salvatore Ferragamo clutch in the same color.

Jennifer Hudson complemented the Roberto Cavalli gown with the Jimmy Choo clutch in the same blue gamma.

Kristin Chenoweth went for the Tony Ward richly embellished gown in black and silver, which she accessorized with the black crystal-embellished clutch.

Jane Fonda complementd her canary yellow gown by Atelier Versace with Jimmy Choo clutch.

Geogina Chapman covered her baby bump with the beautiful flowing gown by Marchesa. She was holding the white pearl-embellished box clutch in her hands.

Sandra Bullock matched her stunning Elie Saab richly embellished gown in black with the Swarovski clutch in gold.

Fan Bing also wore Marchesa fuchsia gown, which she accessorized with Chopard black satin clutch.

Jennifer Lawrence stunned at the ceremony wearing the Dior Haute Couture pale gown, which she complemented with Roger Vivier silver clutch.

Salma Hayek picked both the dress and the clutch by Alexander McQueen.

Naomie Harris appeared at the red carpet in the eco-friendly dress by Michael Badger with recycled zippers and vintage beads. As for the clutch, she went for the one in the matching gamma.

Jennifer Garner dazzled not only with her $2.5 million worth 200-carats necklace, but also with the stunning Gucci gown and the matching Roger Vivier clutch.

Rita Ora was the belle of the ball in her aqua Vivienne Westwood gown. Later though the singer changed into a more comfy Stella McCartney ensemble from Resort 2013 collection.

Dita Von Teese was all glam and vampy in a black Jenny Packham gown with sparkling sleeve embellishments.

The British Style Award winner Alexa Chung opted for a Simone Rocha dress which she paired with Nicholas Kirkwood shoes. She also carried an Anya Hindmarch bag.

Salma Hayek opted for a black Stella McCartney fringe Resort 2013 dress.

Model of the year Cara Delevingne sported a short green metallic dress that she paired with silver metallic shoes.

Pixie Gedolf went for a red Jonathan Saunders Resort 2013 dress with a full skirt and a printed Dolce & Gabbana clutch. She finished the look with blue satin sandals and bright pedicure.

Model Portia Freeman went with a sparkly Nicholas Oakwell Couture gown while Jourdan Dunn opted for a midnight blue custom Topshop dress.

Designer Roksanda Ilincic received a Red Capert Award and graced the carpet in her own design, a bordeaux bead-embellished frock.

Stella McCartney also went for her own design as she took home two awards – Designer of the Year and Designer Brand.

Nicole Richie turned heads at the 2012 Golden Globes with her fabulous Julien Macdonald dress which visually elongated the socialite’s silhouette.

Lea Michelle’s Marchesa gown looked fantastic. The dare design exposed a lot of flesh but this way it only accentuated the actress’ perfect figure.

Maria Menounos’s bright gown was minimalistic in design but the color was amazing.

Jessica Alba’s Gucci dress came in a lovely tone and the sparkling detailing just added glamour to the look.

Salma Hayek also wore Gucci to the 2012 Golden Globes ceremony. Her black glitzy gown with an unusual print on the top looked interesting.

Evan Rachel Wood wore a shining gown to the event, too. Her option was a bit weird though. The dress featured fabric covered in something that reminded fish scales in the waist area and down to the hemline scales gradually were substituted by peacock feathers.

Juliana Margulies didn’t want to wear sequins, fish scales or anything. Instead, she chose a dress that was made of fabric that was glitzy by itself. By the way, haven’t we already seen this dress on someone?

Laura Linney’s green sequined dress wasn’t the most interesting but it attracted attention with its color.

Diane Lane looked exquisite in her floor-length evening gown with a lovely beading detail at the midriff.

Madonna, who rarely gets on lists of best-dressed was able to surprise us at the Golden Globes. She wore a deep green embroidered gown by Reem Acra and looked pretty in it.

Salma Hayek has appeared on Allure September 2011 issue cover looking gorgeous on the shots by Mario Testino. Hayek has donned a cashmere top by Stella McCartney and Yves Saint Laurent skirt and cardigan for the shoot. The stylists wanted to give their cover lady a Brigitte Bardot kind of look making a few waves to the hair and putting accent on the eyes. Salma Hayek looks great on the cover though I do like a close-up shot of her (below) more.

In the interview with Allure Hayek talked beauty, her roles and privileged life:

On beauty and aging: “I believe that every woman is entitled to fight to preserve her youth. But not by becoming overly surgified by celebrity dermatologists. It’s like the uniform of a generation. And it’s not necessarily beautiful. It’s not wrinkled-looking, but it’s not beautiful.”

On her nude scene in Desperado: “I’m not an exhibitionist. It was the first time, so it was very difficult.”

Salma Hayek also told Allure that she has been teased when she was young living in Mexico “because I was too short, or I was too brown”. “You would think in Mexico that would be something normal, but I did get teased,” said actress.

On her beauty line Nuance launched at CVS in summer: “I’m [creating this line] with the philosophy that within you there is beauty, and you have to learn how to find it and enhance it in a natural way…. One thing that is exciting about being a woman is that you can rediscover your beauty over and over and over.”

Celebrity fashionistas hesitated for a while and then took the plunge. Since then on everyone from Salma Hayek to Rachel Zoe wear turbans and look and feel wonderful.

The brightest turbans for Spring/ Summer 2011 you can find in Issa collections. They come in a variety of neon colors which range from lemon yellow to magenta. The designer suggests us wearing her turbans with chic evening gowns, romantic dresses and high-waist pants teamed with cropped tops which leave the midriff bare.

Jason Wu’s turbans were in two tones only – black and blue. Pretty simple and versatile, these looked great with any outfit the designer created.

Giorgio Armani also stuck to black and blue but made his turbans different. Some were ordinary and could be worn to any events while others were smart and would work perfectly for special occasions.

Andrew Gn used the ’70s-era Bianca Jagger look to design his turbans and matched those to colors of the garments.

Milly’s turbans come printed which gives you certain restrictions on how to wear those. If you go for a colorful turban your outfit should be simple. Be careful with the balance. Too much of color or patterns doesn’t look good.

As you can see turbans were represented in many Spring/ Summer 2011 collections. And each designer has his own vision of a modern woman wearing turban. Some prefer the classics way of wearing this headpiece and of course there are those who offer us unique ways of rocking this accessory. It’s all up to you what to choose.

Maybe she has had some surgery or Botox injections or something else, I don’t know much about beauty procedures, but her toned shape can only be the result of hard work.
Salma also has a great fashion sense and her recent arrival at Late Show With David Letterman just proves my words. She looked fabulous in a feminine purple dress and nude pumps. On the photo Salma is heading to fulfil her promotional duties at the show in New York City yesterday (June 21).

Ms Hayek visited Mr Letterman to promote her latest film, Grown Ups, which will hit US theaters on June 25.
