We have witnessed the revival of 1960s fashion era for a few seasons already. It is very popular now, will be still trendy in spring and summer and even for pre-fall many designers offer garments in those simple but classy designs, beautiful and elegant silhouettes and rich colors. Salvatore Ferragamo Pre-Fall 2012 collection abounds with such pieces. It looks chic and lovely and even a bit too sophisticated.

Red, purple, midnight blue, brown, green and violet are the main colors in Salvatore Ferragamo Pre-Fall 2012 collection. Monotone hues are dominant but a few geometrical prints are available too.

For Salvatore Ferragamo Gisele Bundchen (Check out Gisele Bundchen’s bio and picture gallery) looks romantic wearing a floral-printed dress and a pair of sexy sandals. A large blue bag finishes the look. The supermodel poses on the beach beside a palm tree with an incredibly blue sky on the background.

Versace campaign shows us Gisele Bundchen in a desert but despite the heat she looks as fabulous as she does in any other place. She wears a number of stylish pieces from Versace Spring/ Summer 2012 collection – a minidress, a bra top with a pencil skirt and a bra top with a pair of hotpants.

For Givenchy Gisele Bundchen appears to be fierce. She poses alongside two male models and a dog that she keeps on a leash but can release at any moment if someone makes her angry.

Salvatore Ferragamo campaign is the best for me. I like the feminine dress she wears and the place is so sunny that summer seems to be getting closer.

#1: Naeem Khan red sequined dress. It’s of a very simple design but with a deep cleavage.

#2: Monique Lhuillier lemon ball gown. The dress is perfect for an important red carpet event.

#3: Elie Saab emerald green gown. All covered with dazzling sequins the dress is sure to turn all heads at the wearer.

#4: Ferre dress in an unusual design. This Ferre dress looks plain on the one hand but is pretty unusual on the other. It doesn’t look feminine but is very sexy. And the color is fantastic!

#5: Another chic Naeem Khan dress. This dress is very womanly. The fabric is rumpled artfully and the single-shoulder style is fabulous.

#6: Oscar de la Renta blue gown. It’s the only airy dress I’ve chosen and it looks gorgeous.

#7: Matthew Willaimson flame-yellow dress. Flames aren’t always red. The fabric of this dress is yellow but it’s burning from within. Love the color.

#8: Salvatore Ferragamo lovely classic dress. The design of this gown is traditional but the color is not, and the split on the leg is very unusual.

#9: Another sequined creation from Elie Saab. The Spring/ Summer 2012 collection of this designer’s dresses abounds with sequins which look luxurious.

#10: Badgley Mischka’s rosy gown. This dress simply fascinated me. The print is delicate and the design is wonderful.

Jennifer Lopez poses for the US Glamour December 2011 issue (Kristen Stewart is the covergirl of UK edition). She looks beautiful and no signs of unhappiness are seen on her face despite the fact she has been living through a difficult period of her life.

Jennifer Lopez, who has repeatedly been named one of the most stylish women and was titled Glamour’s 2011 Woman of the Year, wears a sexy red bustier top and a pair of Salvatore Ferragamo black pants. To finish her look the 42-year-old singer opted for Ferragamo’s chic necklace and bracelets.

Military trend goes on: Military style coats and jackets as well as accessories have been all over the runway and the trend is continuing since the last year. Such designers and brands as Salvatore Ferragamo, Alexander McQueen, and Versace showed off some some very stylish military jackets and outerwear. Alexander McQueen outerwear is heavily influenced by military fashion.

Preppy fashion adds a splash of color: Preppy fashion is a big trend this fall. If you like casual style and comfortable clothes in bright hues then you might find plenty of designs in the collections of Vivienne Westwood, Tommy Hilfiger, Junya Watanabe, D&G, Acne, and Etro.

Every shade of gray: Gray is classic. It can be worn with black and white as well as mixed with bolder colors. Whether you’re sporting a casual look or a business suit, gray color is one of the major trends for Fall/Winter 2011/2012. Michael Kors, Dior Homme, Dolce & Gabbana, Lanvin, and Bogetta Veneta have used gray in suits, outerwear and other clothing.

Neutral tones with splashes of bold hues: Many designers have went for neutral tones for their Fall/Winter 2011/2012 collections but presented them with pops of bolder hues to keep it interesting. Canali, Salvatore Ferragamo, Etro, and Michael Kors have shown off some clothes in light brown hues, light gray tones, and even pure white. Accessorize the neutral suit with a bold red or teal scarf.

Stylish suits and workwear: The suits for Fall/Winter 2011/2012 feature single and double-breasted jackets, pleated trousers and bold pocket square. Suits have been seen at Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Hermes, Versace, Canali, Michael Kors, and Salvatore Ferragamo. Workwear and overalls have been made stylish as seen at G-Star, Buckler, Hermes, and Marni. Featured in leather and with outward pockets the overalls look fresh and fashionable.

Luxurious fabrics: Velvet is continuing as a trend alongside such luxurious fabrics as cashmere, fur, leather, and calfskin. These and other luxe fabrics have been all over runway. Velvet jackets, colored leather, fur coats and calfskin outerwear can be seen at Salvatore Ferragamo, Versace, Etro, and others.

Chunky knit and Nordic sweaters: Chunky knit sweaters in bold colors as well as the sweaters with Nordic motifs are big this season. They are warm and yet bright and can be found at Missoni, Junya Watanabe, Versace, and Hermes. By the way, bright and neutral turtlenecks also trend this season.

Loose-tailored clothes: Some loose-tailoring is also a big trend for Fall/Winter 2011/2012. From loose-fitting overalls and trousers to oversize loose coats and jackets you get to enjoy some freedom of motion alongside some form-fitting suits.

Some minor trends include various prints as seen at Dolce & Gabbana and Etro fashion shows, hats that have been seen at many shows including that of Dior Homme, Lanvin, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Dsquared2. Creased cuffed trousers are also among Fall/Winter 2011/2012 trends as well as the external pockets and scarves winded round the neck. If you like prints there are lots of swirling prints in Etro Fall/Winter 2011/2012 collection as well as plaid can be found in collections by many designers and brands and, of course, Burberry Prorsum.

Whatever happened to Lady Gaga? The singer who has made a name on outlandish, extraordinary and simply wacky outfits now continues to show off her more sophisticated side as she wears strangely normal ‘human’ clothes. Of course, crazy dos and specs and shoes didn’t go away completely but I bet it’s good to feel comfy in normal clothes for a change. Maybe the singer wants to feel sophisticated and glamed up for a change but her latest looks surprise public no less than her crazy stage and everyday costumes. Give it up to five sophisticated looks of Lady Gaga.

Green Leather

Thus leather coat by Valentino is quite elegant yet with a twist it’s green. Gaga went for same colored Christian Louboutin pumps and green wig to complete the look. Although I don’t know what’s under that coat, the outfit looks great and quite classy.

Classic Black

Not long ago Lady Gaga has been spotted in a black outfit by Yves Saint Laurent that consisted of a front lace top and a perforated skirt. Singer also went for black Christian Louboutin pumps and a black headpiece. She also wore a monochrome wig and dangerous red nails.

60′s Glam

One of the favorite sophisticated looks on Gaga recently is Yves Saint Laurent’s 60′s inspired wide leg pants and bow blouse completed with trendy chunky chain necklace and unusual specs. Gaga looks chic and sophisticated in this trendy summery outfit. Note how high-waist full-length pants elongate her figure.

Houndstooth Print All Over The Place

Okay this outfit of Lady Gaga has been described as “outrageous” and “over the top”. But I think it’s still more sophisticated than her other looks. As opposed to other celebrities Gaga chose to wear a classy Salvatore Ferragamo dress from Fall 2011 collection with matching hoondstooth clutch, sunglasses, shoes, and hat.

Eye Catchy Cocktail Dress

The fifth sophisticated look by Lady Gaga would be a Versace cocktail dress with a bright yellow and purple floral ornament in the front. The singer let her hair down sporting a long blond head of hair. Again the look was completed with Christian Louboutin Daffodil suede black pumps. The only Gaga-thing that stayed were dangerously sharp red nails.

Birkin by Hermes
This bag is the most famous in the fashion world. The legend behind the creation of it is known to everyone. In 1981, Hermès chief executive Jean-Louis Dumas was seated next to Jane Birkin, a singer and actress, on a flight from Paris to London. She had just placed her straw bag in the overhead compartment of her seat, but the contents fell to the ground, leaving her to scramble to replace the contents. The woman complained to Dumas that she wasn’t able to find a roomy but elegant bag she liked. And already in 1984, a black supple leather bag was designed for her. Birkin has been using the bag for herself since then. And the bag has become iconic.

Now nearly every self-respected star owns at least one Birkin bag. And to get the item is not easy. First of all you will have to wait for a couple of months for it to be made for you, and then you will pay up to $150 000 for the revered accessory, depending to the material the bag is made of and the size of it.

Kelly bag was first designed in 1935. At that time Hermes focused on the production of horse-riding accessories and the new bag was intended to hold a saddle, boots and other necessary items. As time passed the bag was transformed into an elegant fashion accessory. The queen of androgyny, Tilda Swinton, who graces the photoshoot for W Magazine 2011 edition, wears plenty of designer pieces. Lily Collins is the latest on this list who went for an animal print dress to wear at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards. Her Dolce&Gabbana dress is simple but very stylish and flatters her figure.
