Russian model Sasha Pivovarova and her husband, photographer Igor Vishnyakov, are expecting their first child. The 26-year-old beauty is reported to be three months pregnant now, so she plans to take a break from modeling soon.

The 26-year-old Sasha, who already has two successful careers as a model and an artist, has recently launched a lingerie and sleepwear collection under collaboration with Gap. The collection features a few sets with botanical-inspired prints.

Sasha Pivovarova’s designs are already available in stores and online. Pieces have an affordable price starting at $26.

Yes, you got it right. Sasha Pivovarova, a successful Russian model, has designed a lingerie and sleepwear collection. The beauty, who has another career as an artist, is reported to have been inspired by flowers.

We don’t have a full collection to discuss now as it is going to launch on December 1 in UK, but a few photos are already available and look pretty.

Sasha Pivovarova’s collection, which includes boyshorts, nightdresses, camisoles and underwear sets, is to be very affordable with prices starting from £12.95 ($26), and will hit shelves just at the right time before Christmas to become a great choice for a holiday gift.

Pivovarova commented:

“Creative process gives me the most freedom because I can do anything I want on a piece of blank media.”

Sasha Pivovarova looks furutistic in Giorgio Armani latest ad campaign for the Fall/Winter 2011 season. Her peroxide blonde hair is sleek and pulled back, brows bleached to the point of invisibility while her crimson lips added a splash of color to the look and nicely matched pinkish outfits from the Armani collection. The Russian model has posed alongside Brazilian model Diego Fragoso who showed off some really stylish suits and outerwear.

Sasha Pivovarova’s futuristic look contrasts with the calm elegance of Giorgio Armani Fall/Winter 2011 collection. It is sure full of trendy furs, animal prints and leather accessories. The classic colors of blue and gray are diluted with soft to intensive pinks and light browns.

Womenswear in the Giorgio Armani Fall/Winter 2011 collection includes pant suits, evening dresses and coats. Some suits feature double-breast jackets and fur detail and a high collar. The evening dresses feature fringe and open back. The coats are especially interesting. The pink quilted coat features a big collar and shoulder pads while another black short high-collar coat lined with pink fabric and decorate with a brooch that duplicates in a clutch.

Menswear includes stylish suits and coats in gray, black and monochrome color palette with bright pops of pink in shirts. The jackets are single-breasted, one features hidden buttons while the other’s button row is shifted to the right. The coats come double-breasted small lapels and below-the-knee length. The suits also feature vests.

Giorgio Armani Fall/Winter 2011 collection also includes accessories for both men and women from sunglasses to bags and jewelery. Let’s just remember Gisele Bundchen in Devil Wears Prada, Rosie in Tranformers, Sasha Pivovarova played a role in upcoming movie In Time (To be released on Oct.28) and Daria Strokous made an appearance in upcoming thriller Contagion (Out on September 9). Besides, Miranda Kerr is rumored to be cast for a movie by Harvey Weinstein and Crystal Renn also wanted to add acting experience to her resume (She’s model and a writer.) Lara Stone is the latest of models who expressed intentions to become an actress, too. Lara says singing isn’t for her but acting might be interesting.

In an interview for Vogue UK she revealed:

I would love to be in Zoolander 2. I’d be so good at that ‘Blue Steel’ pose. I think I’d enjoy doing that, it’d be funny. I’d like to try acting if the right part came along, but I’m not actively looking — I’m pretty busy at the moment. I definitely could never go into singing at all ever though, unless it was for a huge joke. I don’t even sing in the shower. Actually the other day I was in the shower and I didn’t realise my husband was in, and I sang away to myself. I got out and he gave me the most disdainful look.”

So, who’s next? I think Coco Rocha will be a really good actress. She can express different emotions wonderfully and every shoot she does is like a little performance. I do hope she’s considering to try acting. Freja Beha Erichson can be an interesting movie personality. And I would love to see Lily Donaldson in a film.

Some of the clothing was in men’s style – a white tuxedo, shirts, but other garments were pretty feminine. I totally love the black-and-white dress trimmed with lace which Sasha has teamed up with a white handbag and a golden necklace.

The photo shoot for Just Cavalli Fall 2010 ad campaign was done in one of millions streets that have nothing that differs it from all the others: ordinary cars, bars and bikers. And Sasha Pivovarova seems to quite belong there. Were these funky garments created to be worn in places like this?

The photo shoot is named China White and shows us lots of white porcelain: porcelain walls, porcelain stairs, porcelain floors and no wonder that we also see porcelain clothes and a porcelain girl.

The exquisite and grandiose architecture occupies the whole look and at some pics Sasha really seems little and unnoticeable. But when the camera takes her close we see how fabulous-looking she is with her skin pale-white and outfits that seem fairy-tale-like.

By the way, the model wears monster McQueen shoes and no less monster Nina Richi ones, too.
