Summer is a season when everybody changes full-covered shoes for sandals and this is not a wonder at all as the weather is often too hot to wear shoes.
Let’s see the trendiest shapes of sandals for Summer 2009.
Though it may seem all the sandals presented here look similar there are slight details that make the pairs look different and thus belong to different groups.
1. Sandals that fix on the ankle
This group of sandals includes pairs with a massive strap or a few thin ones on the ankle. The straps are mostly fixed at the front.
Such models look great with a platform. High heel or a wedge is a must.

Which handbags are the trendiest in Summer 2009?
Bright, with lots of décor and of complicated design. But what about your favorite bag if it doesn’t suit modern fashion trends?
Throw it out? Leave it for a while until it gets fashionable again? Maybe… But there are lots of things you can do with it to fit it to the modern wardrobe.
So, what can we do? Let’s see examples from designer collections and then make a decision.
1. Decorate the handle
It’s very easy. First of all rummage through your box of jewelry. It is likely that you find some beads, chains and brooches you no longer wear.
Choose a long bead line or pearl line and a wide chain. Separately or all together these can complement your old bag handle.

There is another variant.
You can change your regular handbag handle for a few wide chains. Old-fashioned necklaces with strasses and crystals will suit best.
2. Adorn the bag with sequins or embroidery
In Summer 2009 you can adorn your bag with embroidery or sequins only if you are sure you can do it.
Such a décor will look best on huge and soft totes and small clutches.
3. Attach one or several massive brooches to your bag.
No matter what it is – flowers, ribbons, crystals, lace or plastic figures – choose something that will look harmonious with your bag and the outfit.

As we wrote earlier Nicole Richie presents her accessories collection in hippie mood.
Fashion guru and trendsetter show their freethinking views too.

Short shorts are a hot trend this summer! And the variety of those is incredible; whatever style you choose it will be anyway trendy. So, take the plunge and add this pretty and comfortable item into your wardrobe while the sun shines brightly!

The economic downturn has affected all spheres of our life already and fashion industry is not an exception.
Now we will speak about hat trends and you will see that hats which are in style are too democratic and slipshod. I wonder if designers wished to create styles showing people don’t care much the whole planet is in trouble.
Well, generally if you feel you don’t want to purchase something new for the season just wear your classic fedora hat, a cap or a kerchief – all those which have been with us for a while. But what you have to forget is a beret, put it deeper into your closet for better times.
Let’s turn to trends at last. Hat Trends for Spring-Summer 2009!
Panama hat
Panama hat is a new thing for us and we don’t know exactly how to wear it yet. It looks great but you should wear it with chic as if you are wearing an elegant wide-brimmed hat. Otherwise you run the risk of looking a bit silly.
Panama hats are charming and they remind me of the 60s and the 70s. This hat style goes well with trenches, sporty windbreakers, denim clothes, cashmere cardigans, etc.
Fedoras in men style
As we have already mentioned this spring we see fedora hats again and now they are more in men style.
This item of our wardrobe makes us look confident and modern.

Here are the lingerie trends for this spring and summer 2009. Follow them and be always sexy and stylish!
Black. Black lingerie will always be trendy. This time lacy black sets are on the top. They can be entirely lacy and transparent or with a humble lace trim.
Retro style. Lingerie fashion isn’t changeable much and nearly every year we see retro styles as trendy. You can be radical and choose for a cotton set with knickers or high-waisted panties, or opt for a pin-up set. These look very romantic but can hardly be worn with everyday clothes.
Floral prints. This tendency has been with us for a few seasons already. But new models are distinct for more romanticism.
The most popular detail is a tiny flower pattern on pastel-toned lingerie of retro style. Cute and sentimental. Embroidery is not in fashion this season.
Blue. Blue is a favorite again as in 2007 and 2008. This color looks great on women of summer type.
Blue of this season is bright and vivid: azure, indigo, violet, turquoise. Embroidery on blue looks beautiful if it is made in a contrast color.
