Victoria’s Secret swimwear has always been good for me and for all my girlfriends. The swimsuits the company offers are always a good fit, comfortable and lovely. Prints are fantastic. And variety of styles is great.

The range Victoria’s Secret team has prepared for Spring/ Summer 2012 season is large enough to contain all possible choices we can make. There are tiny triangle string bikinis which are perfect for girls with ideal shapes who like to be in the center of attention on the beach. More demure designs are also available. There are even skirted bottoms and tankinis for ladies who prefer more coverage.

Speaking of the color scheme of Victoria’s Secret collection I can mention all hues present in the rainbow and even more. You can go for a monotone black swimsuit or a very colorful one with prints and sequins and beading.

And one more word about models showcasing Victoria’s Secret Spring/ Summer 2012 collection: It’s Alessandra Ambrosio (Check out Alessandra Ambrosio’s model profile), who’s just announced she’s pregnant with her second child, and gorgeous Candice Swanepoel (Know more about Candice Swanepoel). Anne Vyalitsyna is a girl who can make everything look flawless. Her figure is fantastic but, to tell you the truth, I hadn’t noticed that until I saw Maroon 5 Misery music video. She looked totally gorgeous in it. And since then on I have looked at her a bit differently. Today I’ve come across Gottex swimwear 2012 lookbook with Anne. And I’ve made another revelation for myself. Single-piece swimsuits can look great! You might already be laughing at me but that’s the fact, I thought such suits were only for women who had something to hide from the public eye. But they looked good on Anne – very sexy and interesting.

Speaking about the Gottex swimwear 2012 collection itself I should mention the fact I like the photoshoot more than the swimwear but some pieces are amazing, for example, the blue bathing suit with kaleidoscopic prints which looks like it was made of two kerchiefs, the unusual chocolate-colored bikini, or the blue-and-brown one-piece with elaborate ethnic prints.

What I also like a lot about the Gottex swimwear 2012 photoshoot is the accessories: the huge wide brim sun hat, the glitzy shoes, the bracelets, the sunglasses. These small and probably insignificant for some people pieces actually complete the picture making it look just right and attractive for us.

Venus Swimwear collection for Spring/ Summer 2012 has disappointed me a bit. I expected to see sexy swimsuits in a variety of bright colors and lovely prints. In reality we have beautiful hues and a few interesting patterns but the designs are not as appealing.

Venus swimwear collection features a lot of separate bathing suits and several one-piece ones. Bandeau, triangle shape, halter bikinis look great as well as demure tankini suits. But huge high-waisted panties which come in some ensembles are simply horrible, even on such a gorgeous model like Elisandra Tomacheski.

However, there are a few swimsuits in Venus Spring/ Summer 2012 collection I would love to wear, for example, the rainbow-colored printed bikini, the simple sky-blue suits or the amazing burgundy bandeau piece.

While many models can only dream about getting into Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Calendar some have already become veterans of it. Brooklyn Decker, who is on the front page of the Sports Illustrated 2012 Swimsuit Calendar, has done it a few times. Her gorgeous body and face attracts both men and women. The same can be said about Kate Upton (See Kate Upton’s full photo gallery) and Irina Shayk (Check our Irina Shayk’s bio).

For the Sports Illustrated 2012 Swimsuit Calendar a number of fresh faces were chosen including Julie Henderson, Jessica Gomes, Esti Ginzburg and others. Girls look sexy and beautiful wearing swimsuits from designer collections.

Majority of swimsuits the models are rocking for the Sports Illustrated 2012 Swimsuit Calendar provide very little coverage. Very few are meant to be practical while others have nothing in common with swimming at all.

Cintia Dicker and Julie Henderson were photographed topless for the Sports Illustrated 2012 Swimsuit Calendar, and girls including Alyssa Miller and Hilary Rhoda wore tops which could barely hide what was there underneath.

Swimsuits in Mara Hoffman’s swimwear/ beachwear Resort 2012 collection were represented in a few styles. Bandeau style was dominant. It was featured both on single and two-pieces suits.

No string bikinis appeared on Mara Hoffman’s runway but there were many swimsuits which could provide great support and coverage.

Mara Hoffman‘s Resort 2012 collection comprised a number of beachwear items: sheer maxi dresses, loose tops and comfy shorts. Accessories were also showcased. Roomy beach bags with signature ethnic prints looked amazing.

The cheerful polka dot swimsuit (with blue, white and black dots) accessorized with a straw hat from Margherita Mazzei Summer 2011 Swimwear collection has won my heart immediately, as has the frock in the same patters.
Margherita Mazzei’s blue bathing suit with embroidered top piece looks beautiful and feminine. And the white dress is pretty.

What I think is also worth mentioning are the Margherita Mazzei shoes – all different and stylish, mostly comfy wedges but there are cute sandals as well. My favorite pair is the one which complemented the white dress.

Fantastic prints (floral, leopard, tribal, geometrical), sexy cuts, feminine details and embellishments make Jolidon swimwear very attractive. They look beautiful on themselves and even showier when accessorized with necklaces, bracelets and hats.

Lisa Maree Summer 2011 swimwear collection includes pretty bikinis and one-piece suits which look really fabulous. Swimsuits are perfect not only for posing beside a pool but also for swimming. The producers promise their creations won’t lose shape or deform if you step into water in those.

Lisa Maree Summer 2011 range also comprises a few beachwear items, some are knitted as well. However, there are cotton and silk pieces, too.

The collection of swimwear comprises mostly bikinis adorned with lace, frills, metal pieces, and chains. There a few one-piece costumes as well – in beautiful prints and attractive colors.

Spring/ Summer 2011 Swimwear Trend #1: Bandeaus. This bikini comes as a fantastic alternative to ordinary triangle bikinis. Look for bandeaus in new styles, exciting colors and interesting prints. But beware of wearing these trendy pieces if you have a big bust.

Spring/ Summer 2011 Swimwear Trend #2: One-Shoulders. This trend has come to swimwear from swimdress plus size styles and brought the same feeling of sexuality and seductiveness. You might not feel very comfortable swimming in it but it is great for posing beside the pool or at the seaside. Try either monokini or bikini to understand which style looks best on you.

Spring/ Summer 2011 Swimwear Trend #2: Romantic ruffles. Ruffles rule the fashion world in Spring/ Summer 2011. Light green and blue, delicate rosy and violet, white and beige – these colors are to be trendy this season. And they do have the visual advantage: attention is accentuated on the body rather than the swimsuit itself.

Spring/ Summer 2011 Swimwear Trend #6: Small prints. Spring/ Summer 2011 fashion season is all about moderateness. Bold prints are not the best while smaller ones are more favorable. Opt for geometric prints, florals, elaborate patterns – everything you like. Another trendy choice can be a large single print at one side or corner of your swimsuit. But take into account the fact if the print is on bra attention will inevitably go to your breast, if you don’t want that try a swimsuit with a print on bottom, which will focus attention on your waist.

Spring/ Summer 2011 Swimwear Trend #7: Metals and sequins. The list of swimwear trends of Spring/ Summer 2011 won’t be complete without metals and sequins which are used in bikinis now more than ever before. You can go simple with just an O-shaped ring between the triangles of your bikini top or wear the trend to its full strength having the top richly embellished with sequins, studs or tiny creative pieces of metal.

Spring/ Summer 2011 Swimwear Trend #8: Knitted swimwear. Knitted swimwear pieces are again in vogue. They are presented in few collections but look so beautiful that people tend to choose them pretty often. You can go for a bright piece to have all eyes on the beach on you or opt for more modest items.

Spring/ Summer 2011 Swimwear Trend #9: String bikinis. These bikinis are the tiniest of all other swimwear styles, so only the most daring girls go for these. String bikinis look very sexy and normally attract plenty of attention on the beach. If you ready to be devoured string bikini is what you need.
