Screen Actors Guild Awards celebrity style

The 2009 15th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG) kicked off at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday evening (January 25 2009).

There were a lot of expensive gowns in vivid shades of red, blue, yellow, black and white and everything in between.

My particular favourite was Penelope Cruz. She looked stunning in a classic floor-length backless Azzaro gown, with black clutch.

Kate Winslet was wearing the colour of the season – electric blue.

The British actress was amazing in fab Narciso Rodriguez body-con gown. She made her look even greater with Chopard jewels.

Claire Danes chose the asymmetrical red dress by Nina Ricci that perfectly accented her flexible dancer’s body. She completed her look with Fred Leighton jewels and Jimmy Choo heels.

Evan Rachel Wood prefered to dress Monique Lhuillier Pre-Fall 2009 off-the-shoulder gown.

She accessorized the gown with an eagle brooch, which looks great with the rest of her antique looking jewelry. On her feet were the purple Sergio Rossi heels. She took a matching clutch.

Andrea Bowen was so pretty in her chocolate dress.

The main trends in SAG 2009 were one shoulder gowns and grecian style. And of course, there were a lot of strapless dresses.

Christina Applegate

The 37-year-old Christina Applegate dressed an emerald green Emanuel Ungaro gown and finished off her style with a Daniel Swarovski clutch and Lorraine Schwartz diamonds.

Teri Hatcher posed in white Monqiue Lhuillier Pre-Fall 2009 gown.

Eva Longoria and Rosario Dawson

Eva Longoria in Jenny Packham Spring 2009 dress.  Rosario Dawson was in white Dolce & Gabbana mermaid gown.

Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie wore Max Azria Spring 2009 gown.

Marcia Cross and Anne Hathaway

Carolina Herrera strapless gown was on Marcia Cross. The actress Anne Hathaway wore a white Azzaro gown with belt and crystal embellished neckline.

Freida Pinto

Freida Pinto came in a pale blue Marchesa gown with Roger Viver box clutch, and Martin Katz jewels.

Now I want to show you the fashion and style of People’s Choice Awards 2009.

Carrie Underwood hits the red carpet in a strapless floral gown at the 2009 People’s Choice Awards.

Carrie changed three dresses during the night. She sang in a beautiful green dress and then she put on an orange sparkling short dress when receiving the award.

So many gowns! She was the most stylish babe that night.

Lady in blue

Young actress Dakota Fanning wore a  cute one-shoulder blue short dress. She had simple hairstyle and natural make up. She looked fresh and innocent.

Jordin Sparks prefered a blue strapless dress and chose to accessorize it with gold heels and a matching clutch, pendant and coctail rings with yellow stones.

Kate Hudson, a 29-year-old actress, shone in a turquoise floor-long Gucci  dress accessorizing her look with matching two-toned Giuseppe Zanotti pumps, Jack Vartanian jewelry, and a Gucci clutch.

Floral fantasy

Singer Jewel posed in long gown and stayed true to her bohemian roots with a floor-sweeping floral dress.

And Paris Hilton was so cute! I like her white dress with flowers very much. She put on a shining silver pumps. Great!

Innocent white

Nikki Cox dressed a short glossy dress and black heels. As for me, the dress didn’t suit her.

Olivia Wilde chose a white long gown taht made her look like a beautiful grecian goddess. She accessoried her view with gold bracelets and white clutch by Jimmy Choo which complete her pristine look.

Lori Loughlin’s dress glittered under photographers lights. Nice view.

“The Women” actress Debra Messing dressed in extravagant grey gown. The steel grey outfit is sophisticated and praises her outstanding hair and smoky eye make up. Platform heels and matching clutch, gold accessories are all she needs to be amazing.

AnnaLynne McCord emphasized her body lines with slim short sexy dress. But I think her shoes and jewelry was out of her style

Classic black

Christina Applegate was in a black dress with crystals.

Katherine Heigl was all in classy in a black pantsuit at the 2009 People’s Choice Awards. And Reese Witherspoon, Jannie Garth and Teri Hatcher preferred Little Black Dresses.

Hot in Purple

Queen Latifah posed in a fashionable purple silk chiffon gown.

Three color dresses

Jessica Stroup arrived  in a short Herve Leger dress at the 2009 People’s Choice Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on Wednesday (January 7) in Los Angeles.

The 22-year-old 90210 actress accented her look with JudeFrances Diamond Clover Hoops and a Rhodolite Marquis Diamond Ring.

The brunette Malin Akerman went in a short blue, black, and white colorblock Jay Godfrey dress. She wore a huge necklace and chunky bangles.

Warm red

Of cause a red color is good idea for glam events. Marisa Tomei and Chandra Wilson were very atractive in their red gowns and gold jewelry.

Rich Gold

Jennifer Morrison arrived in a gold dress at People’s Choice Awards 2009. The dress looks like knight’s chain mail.
