Besides the items from the latest collections, this website is distinguished by the exclusive offer of Victoria Beckham’s timeless dresses, which are the part of the Icon collection. Victoria decided to create the Icon line since these dresses are still utterly popular among the brand’s loyal customers. So she took the best dress silhouettes from her previous collection and modified them using the new elements, colors and materials.

Victoria Beckham presented 5 dress silhouettes from her Icon collection on the website. The first silhouettes that were presented back in 2009. The line includes Victoria’s favorite dress “spearmint wrap dress”. Victoria promises to renew the clothing collections every three months. Besides the Icon collection will be available in limited supply so you will barely see someone wearing the same dress at a party. As for the cost, the price range starts at $1,595. Victoria Beckham Icon Collection

Victoria Beckham is to launch a capsule collection called Icon featuring the selected reworked designs from her archive collections starting from Spring/Summer 2009 season. The line of seven Beckham dresses coveted by fashionistas around the world will start at £1,000 or $1,600.

Together with my personal edit of the spring/summer 2013 collections, I wanted to be able to offer an exclusive product on the site that was in keeping with the signature aesthetic that’s very special to me,” said Beckham. “I introduced Icon in response to requests for designs from as far back as my first collection from customers, and I wanted to find a way to offer them key dresses from the archive, but in newly-reworked colours and fabrics..

I hope these updated styles will become unique, limited edition pieces and am excited to revisit other archive designs as the Icon collection continues to grow.

The dress that was unveiled as the new broke is this navy and spearmint frock inspired by desgigner’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection. It will be interesting to see what other dresses made it to the Icon collection.

Meanwhile Beckham showed both her collection at New York Fashion Week. The main line mixes textures and color blocks while the Victoria, Victoria Beckham collection is about layers and versatile pieces:

I’m really excited about this collection, it’s effortlessly cool and easy and we’ve developed a lot of textures, it looks like there’s a lot of layers. The idea is that you don’t have to think about it. It looks like two pieces – jumpers and skirts – but it’s just one piece and you can just zip yourself up and off you go.

Victoria Beckham presented her second collection at New York Fashion Week after showing Victoria, Victoria Beckham line. Beckham hasn’t changed her aesthetics of clean lines, minimalist garments adding color-blocking to the designs.

The new line is all about feminine silhouette and oversize details, an echo from this season also seen at other shows. The baloon sleeves, round shoulders and loose-fitting tops are balanced out with sleek pencil skirts, waist-defining belts, and streamline outerwear.

The color palette of the collection is predominantly dark with neutrals like brown, gray and taupe balancing out the black and purple, cobalt and lemon yellow adding a splash of color to the line.

Beckham also mixes textures not only in outfits but also garments. There are calf hair and textile turtlneck, calf hair and wool coat and other combinations. Then there are garments with the sleeves or necks of different colors.

The collection mostly consists of dresses and skirts paired with blouses and tops. The strict midi skirts are given a playful twist in form of a front daring slit while some tops feature sleek plunging necks which makes the outfits subtly sexy.

There are two pant outfits though in the line. In the first look the loose-fitting cropped pleat pants are paired with an oversize top with color block hemline, and in the second the same pants are paired with a blazer with unusual sleeves.

As usual the accessories were kept to the minimum. The footwear suited the outfits. The sleek pointed boots featured oversize cuff in a different texture and sometimes color. And some outfits came with ankle strap pumps.

Megan Fox covers Marie Claire UK’s March 2013 issue looking radiant in Dolce & Gabbana jumpsuit. The actress talks motherhood, husband Brian Austin Green and cooking.  For the photoshoot the star wore designed from Roland Mouret, Victoria Beckham, Burberry Prosum and others. The issue is on newsstands today.

On being a mother: “I’ve never been validated by work or fame or Hollywood or any of that. I recognize the blessings when they come – like, I recognize I’m so lucky to work with Judd [Apatow] – but the ultimate satisfaction for me is being with my son. All I wanted to do my whole, whole life was have a baby and, now, I’ve finally done it. I just want to give Noah as much of myself as I can. And I want to have more kids. That is where my heart is.”

It’s very hard for me to do this stuff, because I feel like this isn’t my job any more. My job is to be with him,

On husband Brian Austin Green: “I just think we got lucky. I believe he’s my soulmate. But that doesn’t mean it doesn’t take work, because we are very, very different. But we are tolerant of each other and we try to be patient with each other, and I don’t try to turn him into me and he knows not to try to turn me into him. He really is amazing. I should never, ever even think about complaining.”

I can’t watch the news any more. Everything makes me cry. Because everyone is someone’s child, every woman seems like someone’s mother. I have so much more patience for people and women in general.

On cooking: “I can cook, but I also want everything to look beautiful on the plate – then I get upset when people eat it. Everyone just tears through it and that makes me sad. It’s not a rewarding experience for me to cook.”

Victoria Beckham For Elle UK March 2013

Victoria Beckham looks sexy and glamorous as she covers the Elle UK’s March 2013 issue. The pop star-turned-designer poses in Burberry Prorsum and other designer outfits from Lanvin, Miu Miu, Hussein Chalayan, Manolo Blahnik, and of course, her own label, making peplum cool as ever. Photographed by Carter Smith the designer looks radiant and glam.

The designerwill be showing her two collections from sister lines Victoria Beckham and Victoria by Victoria Beckham during the Fashion Week as well as launch an e-commerce website next month.

On going into fashion business: “It was never my intention to prove anybody wrong. I wanted to prove to myself that I could do it. I don’t have to work, I need to work. All these people [her fellow fashion designers], they’ve not just been given anything. They’ve worked hard. And I’ve never been given anything either. But I have a good work ethic; David has an incredible work ethic. I want my kids to have a good work ethic. I believe you can achieve anything if you work hard enough to get it.”

On what it means to make her way in fashion: When I was on stage with the Spice Girls, I thought people were there to see the other four and not me. And when I go out with David and people take pictures I think, ‘They’re here to take David’s picture.”

On family and trust: “You’ve got to trust people. And because I am a control freak, sometimes that’s difficult for me, because I want to micro-manage absolutely everything. I can’t hand over. But I’m trying to do that more. It’s hard because I have such a specific vision. Now David has finished playing for LA Galaxy and we are starting a new chapter in our lives; as a family we are all very excited about what lies ahead for 2013.”

Elle UK‘s March 2013 issue hits the newsstands on January 30.
