Gucci presented Fall 2013 men’s collection during the Milan Fashion Week. The fashion house created a collection of dapper suits, separates, and, of course, stylish outerwear in autumnal color palette with pops of bright greens, reds, and sky blue.
Beside dark tailored pieces there are also patterned numbers and floral motifs that bring variety into the collection. Houndstooth suit is sure to make a fashion statement while a velour floral blazer is a way to spruce up an evening outfit.
There are, of course, warming turtlenecks that go with almost everything and fuzzy sweaters in punchy colors. Some of those cozy pieces are decorated with floral motifs as well. The shirts also come in bright colors to spruce up the dark and monochrome suits.
Leather never really goes out of fashion so there are leather jackets and even trousers but the outerwear also features caracul, shearling and fur in collars and lining. You can also find fashionable accessories that go great with these leather goods and make great gifts for any man. There is a coat in silver gray caracul and a black caracul suit blazer. Going back to leather, there is a black creased leather jacket with a fur collar and an oxblood double-breasted jacket with metallic buttons.
The silhouettes are a bit on the oversize side featuring loose-fitting coats that have wide sleeves and rounded shoulders. Though there are also fitting jackets and coats with padded stricter shoulders and the pants are mostly quite fitting featuring a crease.
As for the styles there is a whiff of military style that is most prominent in coats and jackets. And, of course, there is a smart casual vibe spruced up with playfulness of prints and patterns like plaid and houndstooth.
The accessories include laced leather shoes, big bangs and croc leather clutches, and tinted shades.
