Sometimes it happens that I miss out the general idea and focus on details instead. Have you ever experienced anything like that? It might be totally wrong to do so, but this time, I assume, was merely an advantage. When I was looking through the images of Isabel Marant Spring/Summer 2014 show, the first and only thing I spotted was footwear. For some reason (maybe after the super trendy wedge sneakers that she exposed to the fashion world) I started to study very cautiously the shoes she showcases within her collections. This one also has a couple of pieces to adore.

Overall the collection appears to be very elegant and romantic. Flying silhouettes and delicate colors add a lot to the impression. Isabel Marant managed to combine this romantic zest with toughness of leather, black jackets and pretty much dark shoes. This is what she said of the collection:
It’s the contrast of two ideas that I’m always trying to work with.
Isabel Marant Spring/Summer 2014 collection is a great chance to stress your feminine touch and try on those barbie-like outfits. With almost all of them revealing slender legs, the line amazes with the design and elaborate styling.
I am in a deep love with a black off-shoulder dress featuring cute ruffles. This frock looks both elegant and somewhat naughty – depending on what you accessory the outfit with. Pay attention to the gorgeous shoes in black suede embellished with rhinestones. This is what I meant when I said gorgeous.
Another outfit that definitely deserves our attention is a very saucy ensemble. Casual shorts in ecru with a black woven belt are paired with a plain white top and a bronze metallic meshed jacket over. And those shoes finishing the look – there is no way to keep yourself away from them.
Isabel Marant Spring/Summer 2014 collection features awesome clothing pieces hand-crafted with great preciseness and magnificent design. Every single outfit has a story to tell, which seems to be as enchanting as the stylish piece itself.
