Versace Sprimg/Summer 2014 collection appeared to be super distinct in terms of the presented styles. You will be quite surprised at how different all the outfits are. But it doesn’t mean that they have nothing in common. They do, and a totally magnificent design is what it is. Donatella Versace got super creative this time, coming up with awesome clothing pieces, styled intricately yet effortlessly. I find it so hard to fight with my own desire and obsession over some of the outfits. Let’s see what your impression of the latest collection by Versace will be.
Versace Spring/Summer 2014: Multistyled Collection
A new touch can be definitely spotted in Versace Spring/Summer 2014 collection. It is not merely about feminine dresses and delicate silhouettes. What you find here will make you crave any piece of the fabulous line. While it was pretty much rock music that soundtracked the runway show, the attendees witnessed a number of metal details donned by the models. Mesh bandanas on the neckline, heavy belts with skull plates, lots of leather, rock shirts, metal chains as a decorative element and so forth. I doubt anyone really expected something like that from Donatella. Still, this is what my eyes see and I have no reason to question the image.
Besides rather heavy grunge, there is a somewhat disco touch. A mini dress with asymmetrical hemline in glittering turquoise reminds us of the rebellious and fun 80s’ era. There is also a top in silver with a one-sided tail, which is paired with black maxi skirt featuring an impressive slit.
For those of you who prefer more elegant outfits, Versace offers a range of dresses with a floral print. Be it a strapless bustier frock with a flare skirt or a mini silk dress with a belt on hips, these outfits also rock. You will totally love the floral short-sleeved shirt tucked into a pencil skirt with a matching pattern.
And here comes my favorite part of the show. A fabulous ensemble in powder blue is the one that spoke to me the most. A flare shirt with floral embroidery is paired with slim fit pants featuring the same design on the hips. I love the belt as well as these gorgeous sandals. Despite the fact that such consistency in color choice is not encouraged, this particular outfit looks incredible.
