10 Most Stunning Dresses: Fall/Winter 2014/2015
Gucci offers preppy stylefor the next fall. To be honest, I have never considered myself to be a a big fan of this style. Yet, the moment I spotted this lovely dress, I realized how much I have missed. The adorable shirt dress with a baggy silhoeutte will also speak to you a lot. The most appealing element here is the color – deep burgundy will still be on trend. Besides, the stylish piece features a combination of textures: elegant satin is paired with funky leather. Such an item will perfectly fit into the daily wardrobe of any lady and match any pair of shoes or boots.
Dsquared2 suggests mixing styles and fabrics in one single look. I can agree with such an approach – why to bother about several outfits featuring latest trends, if you can have them all in one dress? This marvelous sleeveless mini frock looks absolutely breath-taking. The pastel shade makes the piece look very delicate and trendy, while the intricate embellishment along the bodice adds to the unique zest of the dress. Moreover, there is a fur adornment that fits into the whole composition and makes one totally fall for the incredible dress.
Louis Vuitton presented a very hot collection. I loved absolutely every single piece, but this striking dress deserved most of my attention. The tank top fit with a very deep decolette does not seem to be vulgar at all. Quite the contrary, it looks very alluring, probably due to the moderate length of the piece. I like the way it is styled: rust brown leather is combined with an asymmetrical patchwork piece in a range of colors. Plus, you can spot an extended zipper which is designed bottom-up. The greatest thing about this saucy frock is that it can be paired with either elegant pumps or sneakers and still look fantastic. Just a small hint: you have to add a decent pendant or necklace in order to make the ensemble even more striking.
Emilio Pucci went for a very abstract design and created a magnificent long-sleeved turtleneck dress. While it features a pretty baggy silhoeutte, the designer compensated it with a low cut. The most adorable part of this frock is its beautiful adornment which blows your mind right away. It takes one forever to explore the intricate pattern of the dress.
Naeem Khan opted for the lust red color and offered a strapless bustier gown which will take your breath away. I adore the beautiful print of the piece as it makes one look closely at the intricate pattern and fully engage. Such a dress can be easily combined with either a classic blazer in black, leather jacket, or even a fur coat. Since the ornament of the dress speaks for itself, there was obviously no need to add any extra styling details. That’s why overall the frock represents a very plain piece of design, which exactly makes it so marvelous.
Valentin Yudashkin decided to bring in some metal and created a gorgeous strapless mini dress in charcoal silver. First of all, I love the color of the item. It will make any lady a queen of the event that she attends. Secondly, the fit is also quite engaging. A bustier frock with a flare skirt and a delicate belt along the waistline is always a perfect combination. And, finally, the unique fabric of the dress creates an impression of the 3-D texture which promotes this desire to touch the trendy piece for hours.
Valentino goes all graphic, and this print looks just awesome. The colorful diamonds in budrgundy, green, orange, white, and blue all together create a stunning look. I adore the oversized shoulders as well as the glistening leather – I am pretty sure you will also love the frock.
Mary Katrantzou designed my favorite dress of the whole Fall 2014 Fashion Week. The moment I spotted this splendid piece of fabric, I knew that the whole universe has changed. Asymmetry, color-blocking, combination of different fabrics and unique graphic adornment are all mixed in one saucy look.
Dolce & Gabbana always takes the leading positions. This time it did so for a very feasible reason. This marvelous jacquard dress in sky blue has a very engaging design. How many frocks featuring tree branches with owls rocking on them have you seen? I bet, not so many!
Here’s our number one – a breath-taking gown by Zuhair Murad. There are no right words in this universe to describe this masterpiece. So just take a look at today’s winner and enjoy its enchanting beauty.
