Another year, another Grammy Awards ceremony. And while there were some new fresh faces on the carpet, the winners weren’t hard to predict. Taylor Swift won the best album award for her 1989 endeavor, Ed Sheeran and Skrillex scooped a few awards in different categories. The only thing that was different? Rihanna cancelled her performance due to illness and Sofia Vergara danced for Pitbull instead of Jennifer Lopez. The rest was typical with Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez playing a couple, Justin Bieber being Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga wearing giant heels.
The red carpet though was pretty stylish with celebs favoring black, white, and pink. Cutouts were surprisingly popular as were thigh high slits. Gents mostly wore suits with a couple of exceptions.
Alessandra Ambrosio looked stunning in her black Versace dress with stain panels and sexy cutouts. She accessorized the look with strappy sandals and a velvet choker, dramatic rings and an earring that almost reached her shoulder.
Another amazing black dress could be seen on Carrie Underwood who opted for a Nicolas Jebran satin number with a side slit and textured bust.
Adele wore a black sparkling Givenchy dress she accessorized with a new hairstyle and dark stiletto nails. The singer changed into a similar red gown by Givenchy for her performance.
Ellie Goulding shined in a pink Stella McCartney gown with a chain-decorated back. From the front the dress looks a bit plain but the back reveals the design fully.
Chrissy Tiegen dressed her bump into a white Yousef Al-Jasmi creation that featured a dramatic cape, which looked classy and beautiful.
Giuliana Rancic definitely stood out in her mirrored and studded Jani & Khosla dress. The TV personality accessorized with gold cuffs and a seriously stylish grey nail polish.
One word, Gucci. The brand’s Spring 2016 collection surely made celebs interested. Florence Welch, being a free spirit in terms of fashion, anyway, chose a pink dress, which is more or less boho style and accessorized it heavily with rings.
Kaley Cuoco is a party girl. She’s at every awards show having fun, taking pictures with other celebs and dancing. So she often needs to choose an outfit. This Naeem Khan cutout jumpsuit is perfect for all of those activities and looks fine on the red carpet.
Common stood out among men with his printed shirt and matching lapels. A nice stylish look, which is classy, but not boring.
Big Sean opted for a two-toned suit that looks both formal and informal. The informal part is in the unbuttoned white shirt that gives the classy look a fresh touch.
